What should I do if my address is incorrect after payment?

If you notice an error in your address after payment, contact our customer service team immediately.


Do not wait.


However, it is important to know that an address change after payment is never guaranteed.



What is the rule after payment?


Once payment has been validated, the order is considered final.


As stated in our Terms of Sale, any request to correct an address or information must be made within 30 minutes after payment, without guarantee.


In other words, an address change follows the same logic as an order modification: the request can be sent quickly, but it is not certain that it will still be possible.



What should you do immediately?


As soon as you notice the error, send us right away:


  • your order number;
  • the incorrect address;
  • and the correct address.


The earlier your message is sent, the better.



What do we do if the order can no longer be modified?


If the order is already too far along to be corrected directly, we may try to contact the carrier to request an address change.


But again, this solution is not guaranteed.


It depends on how far the shipment has progressed and on what the carrier is able to do.



What happens if the address change is not possible?


If neither the internal correction nor the request to the carrier can succeed, the parcel will generally not be delivered correctly.


It will then eventually be returned to sender.


At that stage, we will be able to offer the most appropriate next step, in line with our Shipping Policy.



What are the options once the parcel has been returned?


Once the parcel has actually been returned and checked, two options may be considered:


  • reshipment of the order;
  • or refund of the products, excluding shipping costs.



If you would like a reshipment


If you would like to receive your order again, a reshipment can be arranged.


In that case, reshipment costs remain the responsibility of the customer.



If you prefer a refund


If you do not want a reshipment, a refund may be considered after the parcel has actually been returned and checked.


This refund concerns the products, excluding shipping costs.
